Training Officer – HR Development

About the role

Saipem is seeking a Training Officer to join its HR Development team in Vridi Sagmory, Ivory Coast. The role focuses on ensuring that the workforce receives the right training to meet business needs and supports local content initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update the Global Training Matrix by surveying annual training needs, handling board requests, and monitoring legislative changes.
• Organise mandatory training schedules, track certifications, and ensure timely renewal of qualifications.
• Coordinate logistics for employee training, including travel arrangements that optimise cost and comfort.
• Manage the procurement process for development training, issuing purchase requisitions, work orders, and service entries based on competency assessments.
• Keep the supplier list current and oversee online training platforms, ensuring compliance with quality‑department updates.
• Implement the Language Policy for office and offshore staff, monitor progress, and report results to HR Coordination.
• Administer contracts for the training department, verify billing, and ensure payments align with approved terms.
• Record training hours monthly and provide attendance data to Personnel and SMS departments.

Required profile

• Strong organisational and administrative abilities.
• Experience in coordinating training programmes and managing supplier relationships.
• Attention to detail for compliance, contract management, and record‑keeping.
• Ability to work closely with HR, quality, and finance teams.
