Transaction Banking Sales Manager

About the role

The Transaction Banking Sales Manager will drive cash and trade business growth for Standard Chartered in Côte d’Ivoire. The role focuses on building and deepening client relationships, originating new business, and delivering tailored transaction banking solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic client plans, identifying opportunities for cash and trade products and driving revenue against scorecard targets.
• Lead client engagements, pitch solutions, and manage deal execution from proposal through implementation.
• Collaborate with coverage teams, product specialists, compliance, and finance to ensure seamless client experience and adherence to risk and regulatory standards.
• Provide market intelligence, client ecosystem insights, and product ideas to support the coverage team in winning new mandates.
• Monitor portfolio performance, usage of channels, and post‑sales service issues, ensuring revenue realization.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of corporate cash management, trade finance, and working‑capital cycles.
• Proven ability to build senior‑level relationships and influence decision‑makers.
• Experience in developing client value propositions and delivering complex transaction‑banking solutions.
• Fluent in French and English with excellent communication skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of cash and trade banking products (e.g., OPAC, bank guarantees, SC PrismFX).
• Ability to analyse client operating environments and design tailored solutions.
• Understanding of regulatory, compliance and risk‑management frameworks in banking.
