Travel Supervisor – Abidjan

About the role

The Travel Supervisor will lead and coordinate all travel and visa operations for the organization in Abidjan and across multiple countries. This permanent position ensures compliance with travel policies, manages emergencies, and supports stakeholders ranging from missionaries to volunteers.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise, coach, and develop travel and visa staff to deliver high‑quality service.
• Monitor performance standards, identify process improvements, and implement best practices.
• Ensure compliance with immigration, visa, financial, and governmental regulations; maintain relationships with embassies, consulates, and travel providers.
• Lead response efforts during travel emergencies, including evacuations, civil unrest, medical incidents, and lost documents.
• Coordinate travel and visa services across multiple countries, providing expert guidance to leaders and travelers.
• Manage vendor relationships and monitor service provider performance.

Required profile

• Member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter‑day Saints and worthy of a Temple Recommend.
• Bachelor’s degree in Travel & Tourism, Hospitality, Business Administration, International Relations, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible experience in travel operations.
• Professional certifications in travel management, tourism, or project management are a plus.
