Treasury Operations Associate (Abidjan)

About the role

As a Treasury Operations Associate based in Abidjan, you will support Capi’s daily treasury activities, ensuring liquidity is managed efficiently and transactions are processed accurately. You will work closely with local banks and internal teams, gaining exposure to a fast‑growing fintech operating across emerging markets.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and manage liquidity across local accounts to fund and settle FX trading activity.
• Lead daily account reconciliation for treasury purposes.
• Liaise with partner banks and institutions in Ivory Coast to handle payment instructions, confirmations, and issue resolution.
• Implement, document and maintain robust processes for payments, receipts, and internal cash flows.
• Prepare recurring liquidity reports and ensure transaction logs are auditable.
• Provide in‑person support for new bank account openings and obtain/send proofs of payment to trading partners.
• Coordinate timely responses to bank RFIs and act as an authorized signatory on local entities and bank accounts when required.
• Assist Treasury, Compliance or Operations tasks in Senegal as needed.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in a similar treasury or cash‑management role.
• Proven track record handling cash positioning, settlements, and reconciliations.
• Strong attention to detail, operational discipline and a problem‑solving mindset.
• Fluency in French and English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Google Sheets.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Ability to quickly learn new financial systems.
