Welder – Metal Fabrication & Repair

About the role
We are looking for a skilled Welder to perform welding, metal fabrication, and structural repairs for our drilling unit. The role requires strict adherence to safety and quality standards while working on industrial and offshore environments.
Key responsibilities
- Execute welding operations using various processes.
- Perform metal cutting and gouging tasks.
- Repair and maintain metal structures.
- Read and interpret fabrication drawings.
- Prepare components before welding.
- Inspect weld quality and participate in structural inspections.
- Maintain welding equipment in good condition.
Required profile
- CAP/BEP/BTS in boiler making, welding, or metal construction.
- Experience in an industrial or offshore setting (entry level acceptable).
- Relevant certifications such as BOSIET H2S, AWS/ASME welding qualification, and Hot Work Authorization are preferred.
Required skills
- SMAW, FCAW, GMAW (MIG/MAG), GTAW (TIG) welding processes.
- Oxy‑cutting and gouging.
- Metal fabrication and cutting.
- Blueprint reading.
- Structural repair, grinding, and inspection.
