Commercial Project Manager

About the role

As a Commercial Project Manager you will act as the finance partner for Sales and Project Management teams within the Compression Service Organization. You will ensure strong financial performance, compliance and risk management throughout the project lifecycle in an international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Review, analyse and negotiate financial and commercial terms for customer proposals and Master Frame Agreements.
• Ensure accurate cost calculations and pricing structures during contract negotiations in collaboration with Sales Leads and Project Managers.
• Manage commercial and financial aspects of assigned projects, including revenue recognition, forecasting, cash‑flow and margin optimisation.
• Monitor project risks and opportunities, support continuous‑improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with IFRS 15, local GAAP, tax regulations and foreign‑exchange policies.
• Prepare and present regular project and financial status reports to management and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional and international teams across multiple countries and travel when required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.
• 3+ years of professional experience in finance, business administration or project execution environments.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP, IFRS and Percentage‑of‑Completion accounting principles.
• Experience working in international and cross‑functional settings is a strong advantage.
