Freelance ISO Integrated Management Systems Auditor

About the role

SCS Global Services is seeking an experienced freelance auditor to conduct ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 verification audits across Africa. The contractor will travel to client sites, assess compliance with Integrated Management System (IMS) standards, and produce detailed audit reports.

Key responsibilities

• Independently or as part of a team, perform robust verification audits against ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
• Generate high‑quality audit reports that clearly document evidence, findings and corrective action recommendations.
• Communicate ISO requirements to clients and ensure corrective actions are closed within agreed timelines.
• Coordinate scheduling and reporting with SCS staff, updating draft reports as needed.

Required profile

• Certification as an external ISO auditor (e.g., IRCA or equivalent).
• Minimum of two full certification cycles completed.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 requirements.
• Excellent communication skills in English and French.
• Ability to travel within Africa and work independently.
