Logistics Coordinator – West Africa

About the role

BIC World is seeking a Logistics Coordinator for its West Africa operations. The role ensures the smooth inbound, storage, and distribution of BIC products while collaborating closely with a third‑party logistics (3PL) provider. You will manage stock integrity, reverse logistics, and co‑packing activities, contributing to the company’s sustainable supply chain goals.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and send all required customs documentation for inbound shipments.
• Integrate inbound stock into the ERP system, investigate discrepancies, and resolve them.
• Conduct regular stock audits, cycle counts, and monthly wall‑to‑wall inventories to guarantee system accuracy.
• Monitor and control warehousing and distribution costs against budget.
• Handle customer returns, analyse root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Track logistics KPIs, generate reports, and maintain the Logistics Dashboard.
• Negotiate with the local 3PL to secure optimal service levels and costs.
• Oversee co‑packing plans, ensure production schedules are followed, and share daily output reports.

• Strong analytical abilities to reconcile stock and cost variances.
• Excellent communication skills for liaising between BIC and logistics partners.
• Detail‑oriented and able to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
