Treasury Officer – Liquidity Management (WAEMU & CEMAC)

About the role

We are seeking a Treasury Officer focused on liquidity management across the WAEMU and CEMAC regions. You will monitor daily treasury operations, ensure smooth transaction flows, and support funding and rebalancing activities in a fast‑paced fintech environment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor daily treasury operations, track balances, liquidity levels, and cash positions across wallets and bank accounts.
• Coordinate with banks, payment partners, and internal teams to guarantee seamless transaction processing.
• Support funding, rebalancing, and inter‑regional cash movements.
• Identify and escalate failed, delayed, or pending transactions.
• Perform daily reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and prepare management reports.
• Assist compliance and audit requests related to treasury activities.
• Document treasury processes and contribute to workflow, control, and reporting improvements.
• Collaborate closely with Finance, Operations, Compliance, and Product teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
• Experience in treasury, finance operations, banking, fintech, or payments.
• Strong understanding of treasury operations and liquidity management.
• Familiarity with banking platforms, payment systems, and financial tools.
• Excellent attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, and strong communication skills.
• Fluent French (mandatory) and working knowledge of English (advantage).
• Knowledge of UEMOA and/or CEMAC regulatory ecosystems is a plus.
