Central Condition Monitor – Global Grade 09

About the role

The Central Condition Monitor (Global Grade 09) is responsible for interpreting condition‑monitoring data, defining preventive‑maintenance checklists for each equipment model, and driving fleet productivity through data‑driven recommendations.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret condition‑monitoring elements and translate them into actionable maintenance plans.
• Develop and maintain preventive‑maintenance checklists on MARC/CVA systems.
• Manage scheduled oil‑sampling data, analyse trends and recommend maintenance interventions.
• Oversee VIMS data and Minestar health information to ensure equipment reliability.
• Lead the run‑fleet productivity optimisation programme.
• Aggregate performance data and provide calculated recommendations for preventive maintenance.
• Achieve team Balance Scorecard targets and service KPI’s.
• Maintain a personal development action plan and ensure self‑management of performance.

Required profile

• Qualified Artisan or mechanic in a relevant trade (e.g., diesel, earthmoving).
• Minimum 5 years post‑apprenticeship/learnership experience.
• Strong technical knowledge in field service, MARC & CVA, and general bay operations.
• Effective business communication and presentation abilities.
• Problem‑solving, analytical judgement and numerical reasoning.
