About the role

The World Food Programme is seeking a Programme Policy Officer to coordinate the KOICA‑funded project “Promoting Health and Nutrition through School Feeding in Northern Côte d’Ivoire”. Based in the WFP Country Office in Abidjan, the role will support Home‑Grown School Feeding (HGSF) initiatives and ensure alignment with the WFP Country Strategic Plan.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead the overall project management of the KOICA‑financed school feeding project, ensuring compliance with WFP and KOICA standards.
  • Design and implement the HGSF pilot framework, including development of standard operating procedures.
  • Coordinate with the Head of School Feeding, Resilience, Nutrition, RAM, Partnership and Communication units to integrate project activities.
  • Prepare regular technical and administrative reports for the Deputy Country Director and Head of Programme.
  • Monitor project progress, budgets, and deliverables, and provide recommendations for improvement.
