Project Engineer – Water Treatment & Hydraulics

About the role

Rimon Group is seeking a hands‑on Project Engineer specialized in water treatment and hydraulics to join its team in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire. The role focuses on turning engineering plans into real‑world solutions for water infrastructure projects across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and source suitable equipment and suppliers for water treatment projects.
• Communicate and coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead the procurement process, from negotiation to order placement and inspection.
• Oversee testing and quality checks for mechanical and electrical equipment before shipment to project sites.
• Work with pumps, pipes, transformers, generators, and related electrical systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Water, Chemical, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience with water systems, pumps, and pipework (strong advantage).
• Familiarity with equipment manufacturers and procurement processes (advantage).
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems (advantage).
• Strong technical, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency in CAD and other engineering tools.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Fluent in English and French.
