About the role

OBT, a pan‑African maritime and logistics leader, is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support its Ivory Coast operations. You will play a key part in ensuring smooth office functions, assisting multiple departments, and upholding the company’s high standards of service and compliance.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage daily administrative tasks, including handling calls, emails, and visitor inquiries.
  • Coordinate meetings, appointments, company events, and courier services.
  • Prepare, organize, and maintain physical and electronic records, reports, and correspondence.
  • Support management with scheduling, document preparation, and follow‑up actions.
  • Assist with procurement and inventory of office supplies and monitor office maintenance.
  • Provide administrative support to HR and finance teams as needed.
  • Liaise with vendors, service providers, and external stakeholders.

Required profile

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in an administrative or office support role.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
  • Professionalism, confidentiality, and ability to work independently and in a multicultural environment.
  • Fluency in English and French (mandatory).

Required skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
