Business Development Manager – Student Recruitment

About the role

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to lead student recruitment initiatives for our study‑abroad programmes. The role will focus on building partnerships with recruitment agencies and educational providers, driving enrolment targets and supporting the overall growth of the GEDU business. The position is remote, based in Ivory Coast.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and create partnerships with new student recruitment agencies and training providers.
• Support the team in achieving recruitment targets for each intake.
• Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, recruiting partners and customers.
• Analyse customer feedback and satisfaction data.
• Assist programme management to maximise enrolment.
• Conduct market research to uncover new business opportunities.
• Present company offerings to potential partners and negotiate deals.
• Provide training to new recruiting partners and attend business meetings.
• Analyse financial data and propose cost‑reduction and profit‑increase strategies.
• Contribute insights for product development and competitive positioning.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Administration, Finance, Accounting, Marketing or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Business Development Manager or similar role, preferably in education or student recruitment.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and travel as needed.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and negotiation abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and solid business acumen.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
