Business Development Manager – West Africa (Compressor Technique)

About the role

Atlas Copco is looking for a Business Development Manager to lead and grow its Compressor Technique (CT) business in Côte d'Ivoire and the wider West Africa region. You will be responsible for expanding sales, increasing market presence, and building a strong equipment‑to‑service ratio while positioning Atlas Copco as the preferred provider of compressed air and related solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Drive growth and profitability of the CT business in line with divisional objectives.
• Identify customer needs and market opportunities in compressed air, industrial gas and related markets.
• Implement sales and marketing strategies, develop sales plans and territory management approaches.
• Develop and support distributors, customers and internal stakeholders, ensuring required competencies and resources.
• Manage pricing, monitor market trends, competitor activity and sales forecasts.
• Control order processing, invoicing and gross profit performance, ensuring compliance with Atlas Copco credit policy.
• Promote aftermarket growth through service contracts, spare parts and repairs.
• Design and deliver training programs for distributors, partners and internal teams.
• Ensure safe working practices and environmental responsibility.

Required profile

• Strong market knowledge of compressed air and CT solutions in Côte d'Ivoire and West Africa.
• Proven ability to develop distributor networks and support internal stakeholders.
• Experience in aligning business development initiatives with divisional objectives.
• Commitment to compliance, safety and environmental standards.
