Cash Transfer Team Lead – Côte d'Ivoire

About the role

Rainforest Alliance is seeking an experienced Cash Transfer Team Lead to drive large‑scale cash transfer operations in Côte d'Ivoire. You will manage a team of Cash Transfer Associates, coordinate with cooperatives, payment service providers and internal technical units, and ensure accurate, compliant delivery of cash assistance to cocoa‑farmers and their communities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily implementation of cash transfer activities across project areas, from beneficiary registration to payment reconciliation.
• Develop and execute operational plans, ensuring compliance with eligibility criteria and procedural standards.
• Oversee preparation, validation and transmission of beneficiary payment lists, monitor execution and resolve payment issues.
• Identify operational risks and implement mitigation measures.
• Supervise, train and support a team of Cash Transfer Associates, conducting regular field visits to assess quality.
• Ensure data protection, safeguarding standards and accurate reporting.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing cash transfer or financial assistance programmes at scale.
• Strong leadership and field‑supervision skills.
• Excellent understanding of beneficiary verification, payment processing and data quality controls.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment and coordinate across multiple stakeholders.
