About the role

The company GIG, a specialist in mineral water bottling, is looking for an autonomous Production Shift Leader with electromechanical expertise to manage the bottling line during a full shift. You will ensure continuous, safe, and efficient operation of the line while maintaining product quality.

Key responsibilities

• Lead production operations and guarantee the smooth functioning of the bottling line throughout the shift.
• Start, run, monitor, and stop line equipment in accordance with production standards.
• Track equipment cadence and performance for blow molding, filling, labeling, bundling, and palletizing stations.
• Adjust operating parameters via HMI interfaces.
• Perform format changes and necessary re‑settings to restart production.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic faults autonomously to minimise downtime.
• Carry out first‑level preventive maintenance and record interventions in the CMMS.
• Coordinate and motivate line operators and drivers present on the shift.
• Hand over precise instructions to the incoming team.
• Ensure compliance with QHSE, food‑safety (HACCP), and environmental requirements.
• Conduct quality checks to guarantee product conformity during the shift.
• Enforce safety procedures, including PPE use and lock‑out/tag‑out before interventions.

Required profile

• Bac+2/3 in Electromechanics, Industrial Maintenance, Automation or equivalent.
• 3‑5 years of experience in a similar role within agro‑food, bottling or high‑speed industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of PET bottling line technologies (blowing, filling, labeling, packaging).
• Proven diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Familiarity with Siemens and/or Schneider PLCs is a plus.
• Good understanding of HACCP and food‑safety hygiene rules.
• Current electrical authorisations (BR, BC, B2V).
• Autonomous, reactive, rigorous, with leadership abilities and quick decision‑making in emergencies.
• Willingness to work in shift schedules and a continuous production environment.
