Chef d’équipe – Installation client et maintenance

About the role

The Company of Supply and Integration is looking for a Team Leader to manage client installation and maintenance activities for fiber optic networks in Abidjan. You will supervise field technicians, ensure quality of deployments, and act as the main point of contact for customers during projects.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and prepare interventions by reviewing site locations, execution plans and securing work zones.
• Oversee cable pulling and routing, both aerial and underground, for FTTH and FTTB networks.
• Supervise fusion splicing of fiber optic cables, installation of optical terminals (PTO) and connection of equipment.
• Conduct signal quality tests using reflectometers, lasers and photometers, and certify network performance.
• Diagnose and repair faults, including defective splices and cable cuts.
• Produce daily progress reports and final work completion documentation.

Required profile

• Technical background in IT or telecommunications (BTS or professional certificate).
• Experience in fiber optic installation and maintenance.
• Valid driving licence (Category B) and ability to drive to job sites.
• Strong autonomy, precision and good client relations.

Required skills

• Fiber optic fusion splicing.
• Cable pulling (aerial and underground).
• Use of optical testing equipment (reflectometer, laser, photometer).
• Interpretation of network schematics and plans.
