Contract Commercial Manager (Consultant)

About the role

We are seeking a Contract Commercial Manager to lead the end‑to‑end commercial process for projects in Abidjan. The role is a one‑year renewable consultancy, working closely with Huawei’s internal teams and external partners to ensure contracts are drafted, negotiated and managed in line with company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Initiate and monitor internal processes, supporting review and approval during bidding, contract signing and contract changes.
• Prepare, review and redline commercial agreements such as contracts, NDAs and MOUs.
• Lead negotiations with clients, partners and suppliers, developing strategies to secure favourable pricing, scope, timelines and risk allocation.
• Identify, assess and mitigate commercial, legal, financial and operational risks, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
• Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Legal, Project Delivery and Procurement to align contract terms with business objectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in Business Administration, Law, Finance or related field.
• Fluent in both English and Chinese (reading, speaking and writing).
• Experience with Huawei processes or Chinese companies is highly valued.
• Proven track record of leading complex, high‑value commercial negotiations.
