Digital Communications Manager

About the role

The Digital Communications Manager will lead the development and execution of MSF WaCA/Akwaba’s digital strategy, ensuring a strong online presence that engages audiences across West and Central Africa. Based in Abidjan, the role combines strategic planning, content production, and technical support for field teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement digital communication strategies based on audience research and regional digital ecosystem insights.
• Maintain and secure all MSF WaCA/Akwaba digital channels, ensuring high‑quality, timely content across social media platforms.
• Plan, launch, and evaluate social media campaigns to amplify MSF messages and report on their impact.
• Provide technical support and training to field communication teams on content creation, multimedia tools, and platform usage.

Required profile

• University degree in communications, digital marketing or a related field.
• 5‑7 years of experience in digital communications, preferably within NGOs or humanitarian contexts.
• Professional proficiency in English and French; knowledge of a West African language is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience using video editing software for creating digital content.
• Familiarity with social media management tools and digital asset management.
