Mechanical & Design Engineer

About the role

The Mechanical & Design Engineer will be responsible for creating detailed design drawings and specifications for plant mechanical equipment and systems, as well as planning mechanical jobs for operation and maintenance in a cement plant environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed design drawings and specifications using AutoCAD.
• Produce schematic, orthographic, and angle views to illustrate component relationships.
• Coordinate with other engineers and maintenance teams to resolve design issues.
• Update SAP records, manage spare parts, and generate purchase requests.
• Plan and execute improvement and development projects, including condition monitoring.
• Prepare site modification and new project drawings, reviewing site conditions for implementation.
• Maintain technical files based on engineering change notices and planner feedback.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least three years of relevant experience in mechanical design and plant maintenance.
• In‑depth knowledge of cement plant operations and manufacturing processes.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
