About the role

The client, an international packaging and paper solutions group, is seeking a Maintenance Manager to ensure the reliability and availability of all plant equipment in Abidjan. Reporting to the Production Director, you will lead preventive, corrective and improvement activities while upholding safety, quality and performance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, monitor and execute preventive and corrective maintenance plans for all installations.
• Guarantee production line uptime and supervise maintenance interventions.
• Analyse recurring failures and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Oversee equipment installation, adjustment, testing and continuous improvement.
• Manage spare‑parts inventory and consumables to optimise costs.
• Participate in investment projects, continuous‑improvement initiatives and new equipment commissioning.
• Lead, coach and develop the maintenance team.
• Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene and environmental procedures.
• Maintain and update technical documentation of all installations.
• Contribute to cost reduction and energy‑performance improvements.

Required profile

• Engineering degree (BAC+4) in Industrial Maintenance, Electromechanics or Electrotechnics.
• Minimum 5‑10 years of experience in an industrial environment, with proven maintenance management or supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of the West‑African region and fluency in French; English is a plus.
