National Sales and Marketing Director

About the role

GreenSM, a technology‑driven ride‑hailing company expanding across West Africa, is looking for an experienced, entrepreneurial National Sales and Marketing Director to own the commercial agenda in Côte d'Ivoire. Reporting directly to the CEO and Board, you will shape the go‑to‑market strategy, grow rider and driver numbers, and position GreenSM as the market leader.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the national sales and marketing strategy to increase rides, revenue, and market share.
• Set annual and quarterly commercial targets and report progress to the CEO and Board.
• Build, lead, and mentor a high‑performing sales and marketing organization, including regional teams.
• Design and oversee rider acquisition, retention, and loyalty campaigns across Abidjan and secondary cities.
• Develop the GreenSM brand and manage all above‑the‑line, below‑the‑line, digital, and social media activities.
• Lead driver‑partner recruitment, onboarding, retention, and incentive programs.
• Identify and close strategic partnerships with corporates, banks, telcos, and government bodies.
• Track commercial KPIs (rides, GMV, CAC, retention, driver supply, NPS) and manage the sales and marketing budget.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
• 10–12 years of progressive sales and marketing leadership experience, preferably in mobility, technology, or related sectors.
• Proven ability to lead C‑suite initiatives, set commercial targets, and deliver revenue growth.
• Experience managing large, cross‑functional teams and complex stakeholder relationships.
