Payment Sales Representative

About the role

Wave is looking for a Payment Sales Representative to join its Corporate team in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire. The role focuses on prospecting and acquiring new corporate businesses and helping build revenue-generating commercial products that corporates value, so as to increase non-P2P revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Source business partnerships for Wave's business products
• Help shape the sales strategy and grow the business customer base day by day
• Build relationships that let Wave grow and operate effectively in Côte d'Ivoire
• Prospect and acquire new corporates at targeted locations
• Give feedback from daily field operations to other departments such as marketing and agent management
• Support the payment strategy in specific locations and grow the merchant customer base in an assigned region

Required profile

• Work authorization in Côte d'Ivoire; the position is based in the Abidjan office
• Bachelor's degree in Sales, Administration or Business Management
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar position
• Field-force experience with a proven track record in segmentation and targeting
• Strong sales skills, a network or pipeline of potential corporate clients, and client-oriented interpersonal skills

Required skills

• CRM usage and industry experience
• Diplomatic communication, teamwork spirit and attention to detail
