Quality Control, Safety & Security Manager

About the role

Green SM, an EV and sustainable mobility solutions provider expanding into the Ivory Coast, is hiring a Quality Control, Safety & Security Manager. The role establishes, leads and continuously improves quality control, safety and security systems so that the company complies with regulatory requirements and protects its people, assets, operations and reputation.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and monitor quality control frameworks and define KPIs and quality metrics, tracking performance and driving corrective actions
• Ensure the safety and security of personnel, drivers, customers and assets, and inspect and supervise drivers' compliance with safety regulations
• Develop and enforce safety, security, fire prevention and emergency response policies, and lead investigations into traffic safety cases involving drivers
• Coordinate and help resolve customer complaints and safety-related incidents, and implement risk assessment and mitigation strategies
• Lead, mentor and develop the Quality Control, Safety & Security teams
• Work with Operations, HR, Legal and other departments, act as the main contact with regulators, and report regularly to Global and Local Management

Required profile

• Prior background in law enforcement, police, military or armed forces strongly preferred; alternatively at least 7 years of direct work with police or public security forces in logistics, transportation, mobility or ride-hailing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
• Solid understanding of law enforcement procedures, public safety operations and transport and logistics regulations
• Proven ability to work with police, military or other government security agencies, and experience in incident response, security coordination, crisis management or compliance matters
