Regional Manager – PUS Operations

About the role

Jumia, a leading pan‑African e‑commerce platform, is seeking a Regional Manager for its Post‑Paid Unified Services (PUS). The role oversees field operations, financial flows and performance across hubs and agencies, ensuring compliance, efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular and unannounced hub and agency visits to verify SOP compliance and achieve PUS audit scores.
• Track and recover amounts due from 3PLs, coordinating with PUS managers to prevent errors and theft.
• Lead migration to Mobile Money (Wave) and Jumia Post Pay, monitoring digital payment flows.
• Reduce loss & defective ratios in first‑ and last‑mile delivery, ensuring package integrity.
• Improve end‑to‑end speed indicators such as Buyer E2E, E2E Forward and Network Dispatch.
• Analyze performance data, implement corrective actions, and coach field managers on tools and processes.
• Participate in partner selection, oversee agency commissioning, training and launch.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing logistics, retail or distribution networks.
• Strong data‑analysis capability with a KPI‑oriented mindset.
• Irreproachable integrity and rigor in financial monitoring.
• Excellent communication skills for training and mobilising diverse teams.
• Willingness to travel frequently (approximately 80% of the time).
