Retail System Specialist

About the role

The Retail System Specialist will support the operation and maintenance of retail IT systems across our stores in West Africa. You will act as the first point of contact for technical issues, ensuring smooth daily operations and quick resolution of problems.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain retail IT systems, performing routine checks and updates.
• Troubleshoot and resolve common system issues independently.
• Provide technical support to front‑line store staff and coordinate with the Chinese headquarters for training materials.
• Document incidents and solutions to improve knowledge base.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or a related field; graduates from reputable local universities preferred.
• 0–1 year of experience in IT system operation, maintenance or technical support; fresh graduates with strong learning ability are welcome.
• Good English communication skills (written and spoken); bilingual English/French candidates are acceptable for French‑speaking regions.
• Strong communication and coordination abilities to interact effectively with store staff.

Required skills

• Basic IT/system operation and maintenance capabilities.
• Ability to independently troubleshoot and resolve common system issues.
• Proficiency with office software (e.g., Microsoft Office).
