Security Data & Geographic System Superintendent

About the role

The Security Data & Geographic System Superintendent leads the collection, structuring, analysis and visualization of security‑related data, with a strong focus on geospatial intelligence. The role supports the Director of Threat & Risk Intelligence by turning fragmented incident, ASM activity and socio‑political information into actionable insights and predictive analytics for operational and executive decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement a centralized security data architecture covering incident reporting, ASM activity, social unrest and threat intelligence.
• Ensure data integrity, standardisation and quality control across all sites and regions.
• Develop and maintain GIS‑based mapping systems for illegal mining hotspots, security incidents, community dynamics and critical infrastructure vulnerability.
• Produce dynamic dashboards and geospatial risk maps for operational teams and the Executive Committee (COMEX).
• Support the Director in building country and site risk models, identifying early‑warning indicators and delivering weekly/monthly risk assessments.
• Integrate satellite imagery, drone data and external geospatial datasets where relevant.
• Drive automation of data reporting, alerts and dashboards through incident management, OSINT/SOCMINT and GIS platforms.
• Develop and track security data KPIs and create performance dashboards for sites, regions and executive leadership.

Required profile

• Strong expertise in security data governance, geospatial intelligence and threat & risk analysis.
• Experience working with cross‑functional teams such as Security Operations, Public Affairs, Exploration, IT and Digital.
• Ability to support M&A due diligence with geospatial and data analytics inputs.
