Senior Business Development Manager – Cameroon

About the role

Visa is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to lead and grow its client portfolio in Cameroon. You will act as the primary liaison between Visa and local members, driving strategic initiatives that align with Visa’s global payment solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of mid‑market clients, building and maintaining strong relationships with Visa members in Cameroon.
• Develop, produce, and implement initiatives outlined in the Cameroon market plan.
• Drive short‑ and long‑term strategic goals, articulating how Visa’s payment tools create commercial value.
• Identify and close new business opportunities by analyzing client positioning, product profiles, and market strategies.
• Collaborate with Visa functional teams to tailor solutions, advise on product development, analytics, and best practices.
• Monitor competitive actions, recommend appropriate responses, and ensure compliance with service level agreements.
• Provide timely solutions to member queries, manage complaints, and deliver regular performance reports.

Required profile

• Strong commercial and technical acumen with a proven ability to close strategic objectives.
• Deep understanding of CEMAC regulatory and payments environments.
• Experience managing mid‑market client portfolios in the payments or financial services sector.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
