Senior Director – Commercial Cards & Money Movement (West & Central Africa)

About the role

Visa is seeking a Senior Director to lead the Commercial Cards and Money Movement business across the West and Central Africa sub‑region. The role will shape near‑ and long‑term strategies, drive sales growth, and oversee the P&L for the region.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and execute strategies that accelerate Commercial and Money Movement business in West and Central Africa.
• Develop and implement sales strategies and account plans to increase volume, market share, and product visibility.
• Lead client engagements with the sales team to expand CMS solutions across large corporates, SMEs, fintechs, and governments.
• Own P&L responsibility, manage financial forecasts, and ensure resources target high‑impact initiatives.
• Collaborate with local, regional, and global teams to deliver the commercial plan.
• Work with product teams to define go‑to‑market strategies and value propositions.
• Drive thought leadership with issuers, acquirers, technology partners, and alternative providers.
• Build and mentor a high‑performing sales team, set OKRs, and provide regular feedback.
• Support RFP development, oversee program performance, and continuously evaluate market trends.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of leadership experience in Commercial Cards, Corporate Banking, or Transaction Banking sales.
• Strong business development and consultative sales background with the ability to educate diverse stakeholders.
• Proven track record of delivering revenue growth and managing P&L responsibilities.
• Experience working across multiple market segments, including large corporates, SMEs, fintechs, and government entities.
