Service Sales & Marketing Specialist (Energy Sector)

About the role

Hitachi Energy is looking for a motivated Service Sales & Marketing Specialist to work closely with the Service Sales Manager. You will focus on expanding the installed‑base portfolio, promoting high‑voltage and transformer services, and building long‑term customer relationships across assigned countries.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare proposals, quotations and competitive bids with accurate technical and commercial data.
• Drive proactive and reactive sales for high‑voltage and transformer service portfolios.
• Evaluate client requirements, assess commercial terms and propose techno‑commercial solutions.
• Manage tendering processes, pricing strategies and risk reviews in coordination with the Service Sales Manager.
• Maintain project pipeline, forecasts and documentation using Hitachi Energy tools.
• Build and sustain strong customer relationships, act as the voice of the customer internally, and respond promptly to issues.
• Identify new market opportunities and develop strategic sales plans.
• Support marketing activities, product launches and customer meetings while ensuring compliance with HSE, quality and regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5–10 years of experience in service sales, estimation, bids and customer relationship management.
• Proven knowledge of Hitachi Energy systems and products within the energy sector.
• Strong commercial, technical and negotiation abilities.
• Strategic, result‑oriented mindset with the ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel across assigned countries.
• Fluent in spoken and written English and French.
