Social Performance Supervisor – Compensation & Resettlement

About the role

The Social Performance Supervisor – Compensation & Resettlement leads the day‑to‑day implementation of the land and structures compensation component of the Resettlement Action Plan for the Assafo‑Dibibango Project. The role ensures that all compensation to Project Affected Persons (PAPs) is produced, verified, validated, paid and fully traceable, adhering to full replacement cost principles and equitable treatment.

Key responsibilities

• Produce and verify compensation data, coordinating field operations with census enumerators and DD Agriculture.
• Create and maintain individual asset sheets for each PAP, covering parcels, crops, structures and ancillary buildings in line with the IFC Good Practice Handbook 2024.
• Apply full replacement cost methodology for structures, documenting assumptions and calculation methods for internal and external audits.
• Organise and lead individual PAP validation sessions, obtain informed consent, and oversee payment batch preparation and disbursement monitoring.
• Coordinate land clearance, host‑site preparation and protection of cultural heritage sites.
• Handle compensation‑related grievances, maintain an auditable compensation register and grievance log, and contribute to weekly RAP progress reports.
• Supervise, plan and appraise field teams, ensuring their safety and well‑being.

Required profile

• Proven experience in compensation, resettlement or social performance within large infrastructure or agricultural projects.
• Strong knowledge of full replacement cost principles and resettlement best practices.
• Experience managing field teams and coordinating multi‑stakeholder operations.
• Ability to document processes for audit and reporting purposes.
