About the role

The company seeks a bilingual French‑Chinese translator and interpreter to ensure smooth communication between the Chinese headquarters, local staff, partners and service providers. The role supports the General Management, HR, technical and operational teams.

Key responsibilities

• Provide consecutive interpretation (Chinese‑French and French‑Chinese) during executive meetings, HR sessions, safety committees and recruitment interviews.
• Accompany expatriate managers and engineers on industrial site visits, factory tours and business appointments.
• Translate administrative documents, employment contracts, internal procedures, memos and job descriptions.
• Translate technical production reports, equipment manuals and HSE instructions while maintaining linguistic accuracy and confidentiality.
• Act as information liaison between Chinese management and local personnel, drafting and translating routine correspondence such as emails and meeting minutes.

Required profile

• University degree (BAC+3 to BAC+5) in Applied Foreign Languages, Translation/Interpretation or a related field.
• 2‑5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within an industrial or multinational Chinese environment.
• Fluent Mandarin (HSK 5 or 6 preferred) and excellent written and spoken French.
• Strong discretion, relational ease, neutrality and rigorous work ethic.
