2027 Internship Programme - Session 1

About the role

The African Development Bank runs an internship programme under its Talent Management Framework, aimed at giving students professional and practical experience at the Bank and building a pool of potential candidates for future recruitment. Selection is competitive and based on the Bank's business needs. The programme is open to students whose field of study falls within the Bank's job families, with special attention to those working on projects directly linked to the Bank's mission.

Required profile

• Age of majority in the country of nationality or origin and not more than 30 years old at the start of the internship.
• Currently enrolled in a master's-level degree programme in a recognised institution of higher learning, or within one year of having obtained such a degree.
• National of a member country of the African Development Bank.
• Fluent in at least one of the Bank's working languages, English or French.
• Ability to use the Bank's standard software packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access); knowledge of SAP is desirable.

What we offer

• Internship lasting between 3 and 6 months, authorised only once per candidate.

• Visa assistance for eligible interns; on-site interns cover their own travel and upkeep.
