Accountant

About the role

JMG Group is looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, reconciliations and general finance activities, ensuring accurate and timely financial records.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate accounting records and daily financial transactions
• Process invoices, payments and journal entries
• Perform bank, supplier, customer and general ledger reconciliations
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities
• Assist in preparing financial reports and statements
• Manage and support accounts payable and receivable
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures and local accounting requirements
• Provide documentation and support for internal and external audits

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• 2-4 years of relevant accounting experience
• Fluency in French is required; English is an advantage
• Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail, accuracy and confidentiality
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Required skills

• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reconciliations
• Good proficiency in Microsoft Excel
