Agent Operations Regional Lead

About the role

Wave is expanding its agent network across Côte d'Ivoire and needs a Regional Lead to drive acquisition, operations, and compliance for its agents. Based in San Pedro, you will oversee the full lifecycle of agents, from recruitment to performance monitoring, ensuring a seamless cashless experience for millions of users.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate Agent Openers to identify new locations and acquire agents according to selection criteria.
• Ensure recruitment complies with legal and policy requirements, contracts are signed, and agents receive comprehensive training.
• Oversee agent certification on all products, KYC, and AML/CTF procedures, and manage supply delivery and outlet branding.
• Monitor cash and e‑value availability at agents in partnership with Liquidity and Quality teams.
• Track agent performance against targets, generate reports, and address emerging issues.
• Identify agents for closure, recover Wave equipment, and remove branding as needed.
• Serve as the primary contact for the regional agency network and champion operational excellence, cost management, and regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing agent networks or field operations in a financial services environment.
• Strong knowledge of KYC, AML/CTF regulations and compliance processes.
• Ability to lead and coordinate cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel within the region and hold valid work authorization in Côte d'Ivoire.
