About the role

The company is looking for a Welding Assistant to support the production of elevators and lifting equipment. Working under the supervision of the Workshop Manager or a Senior Welder, you will help prepare and assemble metal structures in a workshop and on site.

Key responsibilities

• Assist welders in preparing, assembling and welding metal structures for elevators.
• Prepare metal parts by cutting, grinding, deburring, cleaning and fitting before welding.
• Handle, position and hold components during assembly operations.
• Assemble metal sets according to technical plans and instructions.
• Operate power tools and workshop equipment safely and correctly.
• Maintain workshop cleanliness, organization and equipment upkeep.
• Follow safety, quality and risk‑prevention procedures.
• Participate in quality‑control checks of finished work.

Required profile

• CAP, BT or equivalent training in welding, boiler making, metal construction, mechanics or a related field.
• At least one year of experience in welding, metalwork or fabrication (preferred but not mandatory).
• Basic ability to read technical drawings and use welding and grinding tools.
• Capability to work both in a workshop and on construction sites.
• Physical fitness for manual handling and adherence to safety rules.
• Rigor, organization, teamwork, dynamism and a strong sense of responsibility.
