About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Freelance Business Development Agent to expand our client portfolio in the industrial and construction sectors across Côte d'Ivoire. You will act as the bridge between our company and potential customers, identifying new business opportunities and fostering lasting relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and prospect new clients and partners in the industrial, construction, and scaffolding rental markets.
• Develop and maintain a professional network with decision‑makers and companies that may require our welding services.
• Detect market opportunities and relay them to SIC CI for further action.
• Facilitate introductions between SIC CI and prospective clients, ensuring clear communication of needs.
• Track commercial opportunities through to closure in collaboration with the internal sales team.
• Contribute to the growth of the client portfolio and overall business development goals.

Required profile

• Dynamic, autonomous, and highly motivated.
• Strong commercial sense with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Established professional network in the industrial or construction sectors is a plus.
• Ability to quickly spot and evaluate business opportunities.
• Good knowledge of the Ivorian market; familiarity with industrial, mining, oil, or energy sectors is advantageous.
