Bilingual HSE Supervisor

About the role

We are looking for a bilingual Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Supervisor to lead HSE initiatives across our solar and industrial projects in Abidjan and throughout Côte d’Ivoire. The role ensures compliance with national and international regulations, drives risk prevention, and fosters a strong safety culture among staff and contractors.

Key responsibilities

• Implement, maintain and monitor HSE management systems on all project sites.
• Ensure workplace safety for solar and industrial installations.
• Conduct risk assessments, deliver safety trainings and lead incident investigations.
• Report HSE key performance indicators and coordinate with authorities, clients and partners.
• Promote a safety culture among all staff and contractors.

Required profile

• Degree in HSE, Environmental Science or Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of HSE experience in energy, construction or industrial projects.
• Fluent in English and French, both written and spoken.
• Strong leadership, communication and training abilities.
• Proven track record of enforcing safety standards and fostering compliance.
