About the role

ProgressSoft is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive sales of banking and payment solutions across the Francophone African market. The role covers the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract signing and ongoing maintenance.

Key responsibilities

Achieve and exceed sales targets set by ProgressSoft.
Develop and execute a sales plan for the Francophone African market aligned with company strategy.
Manage the entire sales cycle, coordinating with product owners, project managers and technical teams.
Collaborate with the bidding team to prepare proposals and negotiate contracts.
Maintain client profiles and activity in ProgressSoft’s CRM.
Identify new market opportunities and build distribution channels with global, regional and local partners.

Required profile

5‑10 years of proven sales experience in banking and payment solutions within the Francophone African market.
Strong negotiation skills and ability to engage senior decision‑makers.
Excellent communication in both English and French.
Organized, ambitious and able to work independently.
