Business Development Manager – In‑App Advertising

About the role

Yango Ads, part of Yango Group, is seeking a Business Development Manager to lead the growth of in‑app advertising within the Yango super app in Côte d’Ivoire. You will work closely with product, tech, marketing and client success teams to expand our advertising footprint across key industries.

Key responsibilities

• Drive monetisation of in‑app advertising in the Yango super app for the Côte d’Ivoire market.
• Collaborate with product and technology teams to optimise ad formats, placements and user experience.
• Identify, qualify and pursue new business leads in sectors such as telecom, banking, fintech and FMCG.
• Build and maintain relationships with decision‑makers, including C‑level executives.
• Conduct market research to uncover partnership opportunities and client needs.
• Forecast sales performance, manage the pipeline and support revenue growth.
• Coordinate local marketing activities aligned with annual sales plans and regional priorities.
• Support client‑facing events and promotions to increase visibility and engagement.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in digital marketing, media buying, e‑commerce or a related field.
• Strong analytical, sales and business development capabilities.
• Excellent public speaking and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and develop a national agency partner network.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets through channel sales management.
• Fluent in written and spoken English and French.
