Cocoa Sampler (M/F) – San-Pedro

About the role

We are looking for a diligent Cocoa Sampler to join our client’s team in San‑Pedro, Ivory Coast. The role involves collecting representative cocoa bean samples from incoming lots and supporting the quality assurance process.

Key responsibilities

• Perform sampling and extraction of cocoa bean lots according to established procedures.
• Collect samples ensuring statistical representativeness and correct identification.
• Conduct visual inspections of cocoa beans to assess quality.
• Record any anomalies and report them to the quality team.
• Complete sampling sheets and tracking documents accurately.
• Follow all safety guidelines and internal protocols.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of experience in cocoa sampling, quality control, or related handling.
• Familiarity with the cocoa sector is a strong advantage.
• Meticulous, methodical and attentive to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and in a demanding environment.
• Willingness to travel to collection and storage sites as needed.
