Data Analyst – Traceability & Compliance

About the role

The Data Analyst supports the Traceability and Compliance Manager in managing and analysing data from partner cooperative societies. Working closely with operational, monitoring and evaluation teams, the analyst ensures data accuracy, develops decision‑support tools and automates reporting to drive operational excellence for Barry Callebaut and its customers.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, verify, clean and consolidate multi‑source field data to generate reliable indicators for farmer livelihoods and environmental impact.
• Maintain and update farmer registers, removing corrupted data and correcting coding errors.
• Ensure delivery data quality on FarmForce/Katchilé, train back‑office teams and produce regular statistical reports.
• Oversee yield‑control activities, conduct risk analyses and calculate farmer premiums.
• Design strategic dashboards, deploy automated KPI alerts and support client reporting.
• Manage FarmForce/Katchilé incidents, lead user‑acceptance testing, train new cooperatives and coordinate hardware availability.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science or Business Intelligence.
• Minimum 3 years of data analysis and management experience, preferably in the agricultural sector and cocoa value chain.
• Proven ability to coordinate cross‑functional analytical projects with multi‑site field teams and external partners.
• Valid driver’s licence and full availability for regional travel.
