Concrete Supervisor – Ivory Coast Project

About the role

Lycopodium is seeking experienced Concrete Supervisors to join a new gold project in Ivory Coast. Reporting to the Construction Manager, you will ensure the accurate, timely, and professional delivery of concrete works in line with client, company, and project requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage project execution and delivery of concrete structures.
• Provide advice and support to the construction team, leveraging concrete expertise.
• Lead health and safety performance, ensuring compliance with the project HSE plan.
• Ensure adherence to client QA/QC requirements and company policies.
• Follow the construction schedule, monitoring time, cost, and quality.
• Verify work against engineering drawings, design specifications, owner standards, and statutory regulations.
• Maintain relationships with the owner’s team and address technical issues.
• Oversee work scopes to guarantee completion according to specifications.
• Coach and mentor supervisors and engineers, promoting a positive culture.
• Attend client progress meetings and sustain strong client relationships.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Supervisor/Superintendent role within civil works, preferably in mineral processing or related industries.
• Experience with EPC/EPCM or client/owner environments is desirable.
• Fluent in English and French with strong communication skills.
• High attention to detail and solid knowledge of HSE policies and procedures.
• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise accurately.
