Earthworks Supervisor – Gold Project (Ivory Coast)

About the role

Lycopodium is seeking experienced Earthworks Supervisors to join the construction team on a new gold project in Ivory Coast. Reporting to the Construction Manager, you will lead daily earthworks activities, ensuring that project deliverables meet the highest standards of accuracy, safety, and client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the daily work procedures of the earthworks construction team.
• Ensure all deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and to required quality standards.
• Maintain professional relationships with customers, suppliers, and external stakeholders in line with company ethics.
• Provide specialist advice in earthworks and civil works areas of expertise.
• Collaborate with personnel across all business units to support project objectives.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a supervisory or superintendent role within civil works, mineral processing, or related industries.
• Experience with EPC/EPCM or client/owner‑led projects is desirable.
• Strong communication skills in English and French.
• High attention to detail and solid knowledge of HSE policies and procedures.
• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams.
