About the role

The part‑time, remote Country Director at StayOwn will lead the overall operations of a specific country, driving strategic growth and ensuring alignment with global objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee country‑level operations and ensure they align with global company goals.
• Lead local market expansion and manage key partnerships.
• Coordinate cross‑functional activities across sales, marketing, and customer success.
• Monitor performance metrics, manage budgets, and identify new business opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies.
• Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic planning and represent StayOwn in external forums.
• Guide local teams to deliver high‑quality services and customer experiences.
• Continuously assess market trends and competitive dynamics to refine strategies.

Required profile

• Demonstrated leadership experience managing country or regional operations, including strategic planning, team guidance, and performance oversight.
• Strong background in business development, partnership management, and market expansion within technology, hospitality, or related sectors.
• Proficiency in financial management such as budgeting, forecasting, and KPI monitoring.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills, with the ability to work effectively across remote and multicultural teams.
• Experience thriving in a remote work environment with strong organizational and self‑motivation skills.
• Knowledge of local regulatory frameworks relevant to StayOwn’s business model.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Economics, or a related field; MBA or equivalent is a plus.
• Prior director‑level or senior management experience is strongly preferred.
