Country Manager – Abidjan

About the role

Lapaire is seeking a dynamic Country Manager to lead its operations in Côte d'Ivoire. Based in Abidjan, you will drive the growth of the optical retail network, ensuring the delivery of high‑quality, stylish products at transparent prices while putting customers at the heart of the business.

Key responsibilities

• Own the country P&L and annual budget, regularly reviewing financial performance against targets.
• Implement the sales and development strategy to achieve growth and profitability.
• Plan and execute new store openings in collaboration with the COO.
• Identify and engage key partners to expand Lapaire’s market presence.
• Lead, motivate and develop the local Operations, Marketing, and Admin/HR teams.
• Conduct interviews, oversee onboarding, and communicate training needs to HR.
• Gather market and customer insights to adapt marketing and communication strategies.
• Work with the Group Marketing team to create and supervise local marketing activities.
• Manage day‑to‑day operations, external relationships, and compliance reporting.
