About the role

The Director of Publication will lead the company’s publishing initiatives, ensuring each work aligns with the core mission and maintains high quality. As a shareholder, the role also provides strategic influence over the company’s future direction.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a forward‑thinking publishing strategy that supports the organization’s vision.
• Lead the editorial team from concept through final publication, guaranteeing brand voice and quality standards.
• Build and maintain relationships with authors, freelancers, and industry partners to expand the publication portfolio.
• Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to execute effective promotional campaigns.
• Oversee proofreading and editing processes, incorporating reader and stakeholder feedback for continuous improvement.
• Manage budgets for publishing projects and use market data to refine future strategies.
• Participate actively in shareholder meetings, advocating for sustainable growth and increased shareholder value.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Publishing, Communications, Journalism or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
• Extensive experience in both traditional and digital publishing environments.
• Proven leadership and team‑management abilities within a dynamic publishing setting.
