Electrical Technician – Offshore (FSO)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced offshore electrician to join the Baleine project on our Floating Storage and Offloading (FSO) vessel. The role focuses on the maintenance, diagnostics, and reliability of critical electrical systems in a high‑risk offshore environment, where safety and performance are paramount.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure day‑to‑day activities comply with HSEQ policies, local laws, and contractual requirements.
• Operate and maintain electric power installations, utilities, and high‑voltage systems on the vessel.
• Perform repair and planned maintenance (PM) on power generation, switchgear, ESD/PSD, fire‑gas, control/automation, and communication/IT systems.
• Validate calibration of test instruments and report electrical & instrumentation status to superiors.
• Participate in daily planning meetings, prepare work control certificates, risk assessments, and isolation plans.
• Support emergency response according to the Offshore Emergency Response Plan.

Required profile

• Ship’s electrician licence or equivalent qualification (minimum 1 year from an approved institution).
• Fluent English.
• Compliance with the training matrix for the position.
• Citizenship of Côte d’Ivoire, as required by local regulations.
