About the role

We are looking for an experienced electromechanic to maintain and repair heavy vehicles such as trucks, tractors, and forklifts in Côte d'Ivoire. The role involves preventive and corrective maintenance on a variety of industrial automotive equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on heavy vehicles and forklifts.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, electronic, and hydraulic faults.
• Carry out first‑level repairs on braking, steering, clutch, and electrical systems (batteries, starters, lights, etc.).
• Maintain hydraulic and lifting systems of forklifts.
• Execute oil changes, greasing, wear‑part replacements, and mandatory periodic inspections.
• Complete intervention sheets, work orders, and maintenance logs for each vehicle or equipment.

Required profile

• Technical diploma (BT/BTS) in electromechanics, automotive vehicle maintenance, heavy‑vehicle mechanics or equivalent.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably with heavy vehicles or material‑handling equipment.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems used in industrial vehicles.
• Familiarity with safety standards applicable to heavy‑vehicle maintenance.
• Rigorous, autonomous, organized, team‑oriented and able to work under pressure.

Required skills

• Automotive electrical systems: wiring, sensors, batteries, starters, lighting.
• General mechanics: diesel engines, transmissions, braking and steering systems.
• Hydraulic and pneumatic systems for lifting and handling equipment.
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as mandatory.
